Restore in the Spirit of Meekness - Part II

Restore in the Spirit of Meekness Part II

I’m still talking about, “Restoring in the Spirit of Meekness”.  But, before you can do that, you must consider yourself by taking a good look at yourself through the mirror of the Holy Scriptures”.

I’m going to explain this scripture from the end all the way back to the beginning.

We can be tempted in various ways:

  1. Tempted meaning proved by God: find yourself being tried and proved by God to see whether or not you will fulfill righteousness and obedience to the scriptures.  (Genesis 22:1-3 God did tempt Abraham to offer up Isaac) (Job: tried, tempted and proved:  Satan tempted Job for evil, God proved Job for good)

  2. Tempted by the Devil: who desires to ensnare you into sin by appeasing your lust: lust of your eye, lust of your flesh, or pride of your life, which is all the love of the world and not of God. (I John 2:16). (Matthew 4:1-11 Jesus tempted by the Devil)(2 Tim. 2:15)

  3. Tempted by Your Own Self:  we are tempted when we are drawn away of our own lust and enticed.
James 1:13-15 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
(Saul tempted by himself fearing the people: pride) (Jonah tempted by himself: pride)
(Explain the difference with God proving someone verse tempted with evil.)

The bible tells us to examine ourselves: 2 Corinthians 13:5 read

Before we can restore someone over taken in a sin, we have to consider ourselves and clean our defiled hearts:

Mark 7:20-25    And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:   All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. Matthew’s account adds a false witness.15:18-20 (Beam and mote in the eye.)

We have to crucify the works of the flesh Galatians 5:16-21, 26

Now God told me to add this part:  He said my people do not fear me, they have come very close to tempting me. Teach my people to not tempt me. DO NOT TEMPT GOD!

  1.  We can tempt God:  We can provoke God by sinning. Matt. 4:5-7; Ps. 78:17-19

Prov. 9:10  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.    What is the fear of the Lord?

Prov. 8:13  The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.  Do Not Tempt God.
